Loss of Utilities

Utilities includes all of the different essential services that we rely on as part of day to day life and the economy - electricity, water, gas, oil fuel, transport, telecommunications, food, health and financial services.

Many utilities are dependent on one another, eg. electricity is required at water pumping stations, telecoms and electricity are required to allow cash machines and cash registers to function.

What you need to do

Have contact numbers for your utility suppliers to hand.
